"Every patient deserves a treatment plan built around their life — not a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand what matters most to each person and design a recovery plan that gets them back to it."

Meet Dr. Brandon Gough

Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon | Scottsdale, Arizona | 8,000+ Procedures

Dr. Brandon Gough became an orthopaedic surgeon because he wanted to give people their lives back. Not just less pain — but the ability to walk to the mailbox, play a round of golf, keep up with their grandchildren, and wake up in the morning without dreading the first step out of bed.

After more than a decade and over 8,000 hip and knee procedures, that motivation has never changed. Every patient who walks through his door is someone’s parent, grandparent, or partner — and every recovery matters personally to him.

Dr. Gough is one of a small group of surgeons in the United States trained in the most advanced minimally invasive techniques available today. He is currently leading the development of a Robotic Center of Excellence for hip and knee replacement — training surgeons from across the country and around the world in techniques that most practices have not yet adopted.

The entire team and the entire experience has been exceptional!
My initial consultation with Dr Gough put me at ease that I was in good hands. Every person that I spoke with from financial obligation to pre-op and post-op care has been the best. Whitney, the PA in the office, is very knowledgeable, caring, and personable. The surgery center was top notch and I’m on the mend. I’m so happy that I chose Gough Surgical for my knee replacement. Thank you to Everyone on the team!

I had both hips replaced by Brandon Gough and it’s been over 5 years with no problems at all. I teach martial arts and can still kick above my head. If anybody is having pain in their hips please go see him. Brandon and his team are miracle workers.

Dr. Gough did a full hip replacement for me. Everything was amazing from beginning appointment to a full recovery after 8 physical therapy sessions. His staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. The method he uses allowed me to walk unaided in just a day or two without restrictions. Of course it took about six weeks to get full range and strength. My number one desire was a surgeon who was experienced, confident, and capable of handling anything since you never know with surgery. Dr. Gough has my complete trust.
